Electronic passport production with Veridos and idpeople

Awarded Status as of August 2021 · Funding type: Not published

Denmark's Ministry of Justice recorded that the National Police contracted with idpeople and Veridos in late 2020 for a new passport series. Its August 2021 plan scheduled production from 1 October 2021. This is a dated production plan, not a confirmation of delivery. 1 Veridos said the public-tender award covered seven years. It would design and manufacture the documents for Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Its partner idpeople would personalise and distribute them from Skovlunde and support Danish authorities. Neither cited publication gives the contract price or data-retention terms. 2
